Drawergeeks: Image Comics- Detective Twitch. I decided to submit the earlier sketch and then did this sketch last night. Big 12 Basketball had me all wound up and I just had to finish it.

Dude, I love this illustration. From the repeating bricks, to the sketchy shading, to the composition. My favorite of the week hands down.
Thanks so much. I really like the way it came out as well. Everything that I saw in my head actually was able to translate out of my hand and onto the wacom.
I really thought this was cool! I love the aire about him but still...Twitch. And it looks like he's got that cup in a death grip. One of the things I love about your work is the contrast of emotion conveyed: silly, comical with a hint of eerie, spooky. heh heh HEH???? ...just enough uncertainty. FABULOUS!
Thanks Barb, This one just fell out rather easily. Maybe less planning sometimes pays off. One of those magic moments.
