Drawergeeks: Seasons Greetings
Drawergeeks: Seasons Greetings. And sometimes the time leading up to the holidays can feel like a barrel full of monkeys... especially if you have kids. So, I have tried twice to make a monkey wreath but have failed. So I cheated and made it digitally.
The second submission was the first to be generated. The Snow Angel.
I really do hope that each of you try to find a small bit of goodness in this time at the end of the year. Friends and loved ones do mean so much to me. I care about you all deeply and wish you each a season of uplifting peace.

Thanks Adam... Man, "soft spot" "gags"... there are so many ways to pun this out I don't know where to start.
Adam, I hope that you and your bunch out there are safe and warm. I hope for you a peaceful and loving holiday.
Man, these monkeys came out of nowhere, I wasn't expecting them! They rock, as does your other xmas illo. Top notch.
Thanks Bryan... but really, don't monkeys always come out of nowhere?
These monkeys are great! Though, at first glance before I scrolled I started thinking it might be something on a Darwin theme. But that was after seeing a bunch of evolution-themed Christmas cards.
Thanks Lacey, But that is the best thing about monkeys. The metaphors that they can be used for are endless. I just always loved those Barrel of Monkeys as a kid. What a design shape.
I saw this very cool 12 monkeys christmas piece on drawergeeks. i wanted to write and say well done!
Is it still impossible to join DG, or has it gotten easier?
Anyhow, again, very cool piece. I share your sentiment onthe value of loved ones and priorities during the holidays. I hope you and yours have a great one!
Thanks Jeremie, that is really funny and slightly weird. When I designed this, it was out of frustration from getting the toy barrel of monkeys to adhere together for a wreath. 12 monkeys never came into my head during the entire process. And they aren't the toy barrel of monkeys either I saw. But what an odd de'javu. Sort of with happy twist to it though. Happiest of holidays to your bunch out there too.
