one last Halloween sketch before the day passes us all by. A preliminary drawing for "almost loose". I envisioned some scarecrow-ish ghoul come to life out in a field just patiently working at his task, knowing that it has time on it's side. It has been forgotten, presumed dispatched. It feeds on that vision in it's head. One more arm to go...

You know sitting here in the dark with the wind whispering outside and the leaves clammoring for me to stay in ...stay IN and be safe, I would have to confess Linus' that I think you should go ahead and wait for the Great Pumpkin in that patch. He's surely got somethin for ya....but before you go, kin I have your Bit o Honey?

You know, how such an affable young fellow can generate such creepiness, it's awesome! Good going buddy.

THanks, I owe it all to too many years of making sure that I stayed in the exact center of the bed at night so the monsters couldn't pull me over the side.

Very creepy. That evil smile sort of reminds me of the Joker, very cool! Happy Halloween!!

Joanie, thanks heaps... I got that smile from comic artist Arthur Adams. The Master. He uses it for a lot of stuff. It is just so creepy. Happy Halloween to you too.
