ponytail scribble.
broke out the baby scratchboards. tiny little. fun to play with and no repercussions. Just fun and practice.

It really seems relaxed;almost as if you started a little tense and relaxed yourself through the piece. Her eyes and face have an emotional and brooding sense about them but as you take in the rest of her, she becomes less oppressive and "tight". I like the transition and think it's fantastic. There is more than one focal point and each incites a different "feel".

You have such lovely expressive work Doug. I really like what you are trying to achieve in your illustrations. The depth of your work just leaves me in awe. I'm very glad I discovered you through BEASTS - if that is all I did through that exercise, then it was worth it.
