Zoo 408- The last of the submissions. Finished it up this morning and got it scanned in. Whew. It is a rough finish, but it is on the beloved Craft Paper. Alright... now to start the day.

I had to go back to this one. It provoked much more power and raw strength. The muscles and eyes are fantastic; very deep. I can almost hear the crashing of horns or can visualize another bull close by that would bring on such a stare. It was as if he posed for you. Great work. I can't imagine how this WOULDN'T help them. I am so amazed by your talent since I can't draw a straight line or make anything from a crooked one. I just can't rave enough. You should be so proud of yourself DB.

Thanks Barb. You are too kind. I just hope it helps out the Zoo. Bruna, I don't think any of the pieces are going to be shown. The intent was to have them pick and use the works to generate revenue. They lost a bunch of City funding this year and are really struggling. Thanks so much for your kind words.
These are all beautiful! I was just at the zoo in mid-March, and I swear I can remember these individual animals from my visit and recognize them in your drawings. I can hear those trumpeter swans!
This one and the last kangaroo especially are very sensitive. Kudos! I have yet to get the hang of using sepia along with black and white; you pulled it together seamlessly.
Where/When will these be displayed, entered, etc?
Thanks heaps Lacey. That means a lot. The entire goal was to help out the Zoo. The originals are retained by the artists. But the images will be donated to the zoo to be used to hopefully generate revenue however they can best use them. I have no idea at this time how or what images the Zoo will want to use. It is up to them really. I just had a ball doing this.
