Hello, I have been in the visual arts field since 1989. These drawings and sketches are what I do. They are a snapshot in time of what I am trying to express or resolve. Sometimes the expression is incomplete until I can uncover a better solution.
I hope you enjoy what you see. I have had a good time growing along with the drawings.
Plump and cuddly. I really like it. The kids gave it the appropriate "AwwwwwwWWW!" Now they want chickens cause they're so cute. Lovely. Don't draw dinosaurers any time soon, kay? Land of the Lost won't cut it.
Mr. B... So curious you are. I did have some reference for the pose. But once that was established, the rest is done from out of my head. You have to remember, I did tons of eagles when I did work for Harley-Davidson for those 7 years. Either motorcycle drawings or Eagle drawings. My choice. Since I hated rapidograph pens... I chose eagles. I got really good at knowing how the feathers lay and how to render them.

Amazing. It's a good thing you can't sit still. You have done some great work while figidty!
Did this at the airport/airplane? Wow! I like the hen's feather. Great texture!
Cristen, Thanks heaps.
AFA, Thanks for the comment. I had fun doing it. Too many years drawing eagles for Harley-Davidson... couldn't let that feather knowledge go to waste.

So, I have to know. Did you draw this without reference?
