Hello, I have been in the visual arts field since 1989. These drawings and sketches are what I do. They are a snapshot in time of what I am trying to express or resolve. Sometimes the expression is incomplete until I can uncover a better solution.
I hope you enjoy what you see. I have had a good time growing along with the drawings.
Clown Scratchboard: Hokey smokes it's finally done... what a job. I am happy it turned out as I hoped. But I don't know how the champions of the pen in the last century did this and made a profit. Sheesh. My eyes my eyes. I need colors to see.
Tonight, I was at dinner with some friends and one of them turned to me and said, "I actually invited these clowns to my house on Wednesday." Then one of the other guys said, "Is she calling us clowns?" And I had to re-assure him that for her clowns are good, happy things.
For me, they're not. And this image seems to capture something of that.
Bryan, thanks... I hope I get in. If not, it was still fun to do the work. That is what it should be about for me. The fun of producing the work. Nicole, Glad to see that there are folks who still enjoy a good happy clown, sorry it isn't you or myself. They hide too much. Too much disguise. But now it's out of the system, on to other things... like Mummies.

Glad you're feeling the release of finality.
