This is a concoction where I had been looking at too many cowboy paintings and too many children's book illustrators. The result; a rather odd take on Pecos Bill but rather scaled down.

Doug, this ROCKS! Man, I just love your children's illustrations. Your characters always look like they're having so much fun, and they have an amazing amount of warmth and spirit.
thanks so much. I was really proud of the outcome on that one. But the prairie dog really took some changes from start to finish.
